How it works
How Creative Sprouts competitions work
Each Junior brand publishes its own rules, deadlines, and results. Families and teachers follow the competition page for the entry they are preparing.
- 01Choose a brand and competition
Browse the current art, writing, photography, or poetry listings on the Junior brand websites.
- 02Read the rules
Check age, residence, deadline, original-work policy, formats, and any submission limits on that competition page.
- 03Create and submit
The young creator makes the work; the parent or teacher follows the brand’s submission instructions.
- 04Review and results
The brand reviews entries and announces awards according to that competition’s published process.
- 05Celebrate and explore
Find certificates and results where the competition offers them. Selected work may appear in a showcase or publication when that competition’s rules allow it. Return for another theme when ready.
What participants can expect
- Clear entry instructions and age or eligibility rules on each competition page
- A published deadline
- Review and results described by that competition
- Awards and certificates where the competition offers them
- Selected work may appear in a brand showcase or publication under those rules
That rhythm is what families trust — and what partners can show up alongside. Schedules differ by brand: Junior Artists currently runs monthly art competitions, while writing, photography, and poetry follow each brand’s own published cadence.
Personalized critique, exact result timing, and publication are only promised when that competition’s rules say so. For sponsorship or advertising around these moments, contact us.
Organizations that want to run their own competitions can use Canopy — Creative Sprouts’ competition management platform, the same operational foundation behind our Junior brands.
